CNC Operator

Job Description:

In this position, you will be responsible for cutting stock, setting up of parts and fixtures, and loading tools in CNC Mills and Lathe. The successful applicant will be provided with "on the job" and technical training to become competent in the manufacture of high tolerance parts utilizing CNC cutting equipment, while performing general machine shop duties.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC Lathes and Mills with a high degree of competency. Including: setting up fixtures, clamping raw stock to be machined, loading and selecting tools from tool list.
  • Adjust machine controls and change tool settings in order to keep dimensions within specified tolerances.
  • Inspect parts to ensure they meet specification according to print.
  • Perform machine maintenance as needed.
  • Perform other machine shop duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and/or mills preferred.
  • Experience with general hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
  • Must have good math skills including the metric and standard systems.
  • Have general understanding of basic machine shop equipment and its safe operation.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts a plus.
  • Wire EDM and/or Water Jet operating experience a plus.

Senior Automation Engineer

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work with existing and new customers on Automation and Robotic System opportunities and projects. You will also be responsible for expanding the robotics and automation division by working with the marketing and sales group. Identification and development of new automation and robotics standard products will also be one of the primary responsibilities. In this position you are be expected to work with minimal day- to-day supervision and direction, frequently working independently in the execution of projects in order to maintain and optimize project schedules

Education:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Developing technical proposals and cost estimates for automated and robotic systems.
  • Creation of concept layouts and robot simulations for proposals
  • Interfacing with customers during proposal process as well as well as developing new opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Project Management of large automation and robotic systems
  • Identification and Development of Standard Automation and Robotic Products
  • Work with cross-functional team members and provide technical leadership specifying, designing, and managing specialty machine projects from concept thru final assembly.
  • Management and mentoring of designers, engineers, and technicians.
  • Insure projects meet their scheduled release dates.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • 3D CAD expertise (Pro/E and/or SolidWorks).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of machine controls, pneumatics, and fluid power.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes for automation and light manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership, issue resolution skills and decision making abilities.
  • Strong communications skills and outgoing personality
  • Candidates must be able to establish and develop long-term client relationships both in the Public and Private sectors.
  • Experience with Fanuc Robotics a plus.

Software Automation Developer

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work with an existing automation application to enhance its features and create new and inovative software automation. Other goals for this position include, custom user/robotic interface in 6 months, creation of web based application for patented consumer product in 9 months, creation of mobile application in 15 months by creating structure for growing software development team. In this position you are be expected to work with minimal day-to-day supervision and direction, frequently working independently in the execution of projects in order to maintain and optimize project schedules.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree and/or 4 years’ experience in related field.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work within existing codebase to further application development and enhance features
  • Work with manager to develop software designs according business requirements
  • Offer solutions to complex coding requirements
  • Handle day to day programming requests and write new software applications as requested
  • Architect new software from top to bottom

Experience in some or all of the following:

  • 2+ years of Unity development using C#
  • 2+ years working with .Net Framework
  • Knowledge of OOP principals and design patterns
  • Experience with C, C++, C#, Visual Basic
  • Experience with Databases
  • Experience with control panel design consisting of communications, device connections, PLC's, and VFD's.
  • Experience with motion control a plus.
  • Any knowledge Fanuc Robot controllers a plus.

Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

In this position you will be responsible for all stages of a product: from research and development, to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. The successful candidate will provide efficient solutions to the development of processes and products, ranging from small component designs to extremely large automated assemblies and productions.

Education:

Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles
  • Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
  • Hands-on assembly and debug of equipment designs.
  • Project and construction job cost estimates.
  • Create and maintain BOMs and part requisitions.
  • Work with customers to define and specify job requirements.
  • Insure products meet their scheduled release dates.

Experience:

  • 3D CAD expertise (Pro/E or SolidWorks).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of machine controls, pneumatics, and fluid power.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes for automation and light manufacturing.

PLC Programmer

Job Description:

The successful candidate will participate in quoting and be responsible for designing, and implementing the controls portion of automation for DAC's custom systems. Typical hardware involved includes HMI's, PLC's, Robots, Control Panels, and general controls supporting manufacturing systems. In this position you would be expected to work with minimal day-to-day supervision and direction, frequently working independently in the execution of projects in order to maintain and optimize project schedules.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree and/or 4 years’ experience in related field.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • PLC and HMI programming of automated machinery using Rockwell Software RS Logix 5000 and Factory Talk.
  • Onsite installation, startup, and customer acceptance testing.
  • Preparation of project documentation.
  • Other aspects of electrical/controls projects.

Experience:

  • Some programming experience with PLC's, HMI's, and VFD's.
  • Specific experience with Allen-Bradley PLC's, PanelView, RedLion, a plus.
  • Some awareness with Database coordination a plus.
  • Any knowledge of higher level software technologies like; XML, .NET, VB6/.NET, C#.NET or VC++ a plus.
  • Experience surrounding development of controls design, functional definitions, and HMI design.
  • Experience with control panel design consisting of communications, device connections, PLC's, and VFD's.
